There is no doubt that fees have a direct and considerable impact on investment performance. At Milestone, we are committed to minimizing all portfolio costs including commissions and other market impact costs associated with trading, custodial and management fees. Our fees are 1% on the first $500,000 and decline with portfolio size. Our minimum annual account fee is $5,000. This generally provides value for portfolios of $400,000 and higher. Also, investment counsel fees for taxable accounts are tax deductible and our clients are not charged custodial fees.
